Salary: £35,000 plus benefits
Location: Hastings, UK or remote within UK
We're looking for talented Craft Developers who want to work and collaborate with organisations like NBC, Mixmag, and Transparency International.
The role is for UK-based developers who want to work remotely or from our studio in Hastings.
The right candidate knows Craft inside-and-out and will be involved throughout the build process. The role is mostly front-end work, but increasingly we have opportunities to develop bespoke, unique, plugins and modules for Craft 3.
We provide every member of the team a budget for technology, events, gym memberships, music subscriptions, etc.
At Mutual we work hard to do the best possible work for our clients and their users - but we have a good work/life balance. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week is plenty. We don't do overtime, we don't "crush it over a weekend". We take our time to do things right. You can work from home. You can adjust your hours here and there around your real life. We just care that work gets done and you stay on form.
We're a highly collaborative agency where all members of the team have a say in the work we do and how we do it. That's why we're called Mutual. This is a good opportunity for those who have been at other agencies and have found them to be lacklustre or slow to change.
We're not necessarily looking for people with years of experience, as long as you can do the job and are enthusiastic we welcome you to join the process.
This salary of £35,000 is the same as every other developer within the agency filling the role described above. The salary is defined to be above the average salary for similar roles based in Brighton, UK - which has a higher cost-of-living than our studio's location in Hastings. We're transparent about our salaries and make sure that teammates are paid equally. Mutual work, mutual pay.
Ideally the candidate will be in a position to start before the end of 2018.
Send a quick hello email to firstname.lastname@example.org with an introduction and some samples of projects you've worked on and any tales from the frontline on those projects.
Important: This position requires you to be able to get to the office at least a few times a year.
